When Alex Kendall White went looking for an electronic engineer in the UCL EEE department asking for some one to help on his latest project, George was the name they repeated. And so a great partnership was born for projects well into the future.
Flux No 5 consisted of a 350kg church bell, kindly donated from the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. It was hung from a ceiling and swung around through a beautiful robot designed by Alex and controlled by electronics designed by myself. The motor control was complete however there wasn't time to finish the algorithms to move the piece in the manner initially intended based on the location of participants in the room with the bell.
